Washington State divides its Real Estate licenses into three parts: Sales Assistant, Agent, and Broker. The difference lies in the number of courses one has to pass. The Sales Assistant designation usually requires the passing of one course, often called the Washington Real Estate Principles course. It is akin to the one used by Timeshare sales people.
