Upgrade to Real Estate Broker license

Tired of working for somebody else?

Of course, since you work on commissions you are semi-independent already.  But it is not the same as being a full broker.  Real Estate brokers work a higher number of sales and get paid a better percentage (double benefits), supervise others, may teach the subject in school, and can act as experts to local law firms with a nice retainer.  Or, as a broker you can set up your own office!

Foreclosure rates are currently rising everywhere.  But you know not to worry.  When prices come down to the right level every house and condo on the market will be sold eventually, and as the broker-of-record you will be receiving commissions for your services!

Real Estate, 2008-03-28 05:08:27: How to find a contractor you'll love
One upside to the popped real estate bubble is that hiring contractors has suddenly become a lot easier. A couple of years ago, it seemed like you had to be an A-list celebrity or a hedge fund tycoon to get one to so much as call you back. But with homeowners increasingly hesitant to plow big bucks into home improvement, even the best contractors might pick up your call before the second ring.

Studying for the exam is not difficult, but passing the state license can be time consuming and expensive if you are not properly prepared and you have to repeat your exam.  The pass rate is between 25% and 35% for any one examination session.  Also, compared to your previous agent exam, the broker exam is longer and covers the more difficult subjects.  No more easy basics.  Read more

The Problem

That low pass rate happens because applicants are not prepared.  Even going to school may leave you under-prepared because the instructors are often fellow Real Estate brokers who do their teaching on-the-side for obtaining easy customer referrals from students and to become consultants to law firms for pending Real Estate litigations.  We see the applicants’ level of preparedness every day when people think they already know it and then find out, through our College Tutor, how little prepared they actually are.

Solutions to the Problem

1.   Sign up for a Real Estate course at a local community college

Even with the above mentioned drawbacks it is still a good deal for your money and you get live, invaluable interaction with other students.  Particularly so when you have your College Tutor by your side to help.  The College Tutor covers contracts, family law, money and interest, general law concepts, banking, mortgages, appraisals, Fair Housing Law, tenant - landlord relationships, escrow, depreciation, foreclosures and evictions, and much more, the full gambit.

2.   Obtain our College Tutor for Real Estate broker

This is your antidote to poor teacher performance.  With the online College Tutor for Real Estate broker you have an unbeatable combination of class time plus your own private expert tutor at home to ace the course and pass the state exam on the first try.  Most of the material you already know from past experience, but it is nice to have a comprehensive review at your finger tips.

The College Tutor has more than 1,500 questions with detailed answers.  Unlike competing offerings that give you ten “finals” of 150 questions each, we have broken ours down into 20 Topics to match any textbook chapter, plus a Final, of course.  All the Topics and the Finals are each scrambled up every time you go through them so you don't get bored.  Since our Finals are assembled from the 1,500+ questions in the question pool, each Final turns out different from each of the preceding ones for infinite variety.

That's not all.  If you answered a question incorrectly the correct answer pops up immediately — with detailed explanations.  But what if you answered correctly by mistake? No problem! A right-click on your mouse brings up the explanation why it was correct.  No fumbling around near the end of the book only to read that it should have been ‘3A’.  Also, on a retake, all the questions that you previously answered correctly are skipped.  We are not wasting your time.

And we still go one step further to make life easy for you: Type in a word or short phrase and the College Tutor program looks through the entire database and points out the pages where that particular word or phrase can be found.  Another mouse click and that phrase is all yours.  How’s that for speed and convenience?

How about math questions?  As a broker you are required to know more math than you were as a 'mere' agent.  We teach you math extensively and at no extra charge.  Again, instead of telling you that the answer to question five should have been “B”, we give you the whole and complete derivation.  Line by line.  Nothing is left to guesswork.

And when you are all done you may print yourself a professionally looking Certificate of Accomplishment.  Hang it on the wall or send it in to the state agency as evidence of your good work.

Now, we would not want you to be stuck with a review program you might not like.  So we rigged up a small online demonstration of the what you see is what you get kind.  Click demo to go directly to it.  It has twelve questions from various Topics — enough for you to get the idea how it works.  Repeat the demo several times to notice how the question sequences change.

Are we done yet?  For Real Estate Brokers and Loan Officers/Mortgage Lenders we have a sophisticated property acquisition assessment tool using discounted return on investment (DROI) in spreadsheet form.  This program alone is worth several hundred dollars if sold separately.  For the time being it is free to our customers.

Question   Does your Tutor program have the questions that will be on my exam?

In a word, NO.  That is not possible.  1) the questions are guarded like gold at Fort Knox.  2) The question booklets change for every exam at random and .....  your table neighbor in the room has an exam that is different from yours.  Double-scramble to make 110% sure that no peaking and no advance notification can take place.  Besides, our aim is to teach you well with our questions and to make you the best informed broker in town. With today's stratospheric home prices (nice commissions, though!) buyers are not in a forgiving mood if something should go wrong and they can blame it on the broker.  Your best defense is to be well informed about all the rules, regulations, and practices pertaining to Real Estate.

Question   It's been a while.  Do you have a study aid available?

Read our Study Guide for effective learning.  And if you have kids in school you should read it twice.

Question   My state exam is in three days.  Will the College Tutor help me?

No.  We cannot think of anything that would, that is much too short.  You must have time to study using our method for two-to-three weeks beforehand.  Call up the testing center to postpone.

Well, we have touched on all the bases that make reviewing Real Estate with us as easy and rewarding as can be done. The rest is up to you.  If all you want is to ‘get your broker license the fastest possible way — and damn the consequences’ then the College Tutor is not for you; probably you will be looking at several exam retakes with all the delays and repeated costs that entails.  But if you are serious and want to become the broker in your neighborhood then do it right and click now on the Order button.
